If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. Does ND levy NCAA max # of hockey scholarships? The by Jaxdulac

reason I ask is both TItle IX and split scholarships.

Schools who sponsor football often find themselves unable (or unwilling) to offer max scholarships in baseball, golf, hockey, tennis, etc., on the men's side due to Title IX requirements. That notwithstanding, NCAA max won't get you close to fielding a full baseball team, for instance. Many schools give out 1/2 scholarships in baseball in an attempt to have 20+ players on some form of scholarship. The challenge of that at ND - versus....say......Michigan State - is that 1/2 scholarship still leaves you with fairly significant tuition costs at a place like ND; much more so than public U.
