On Top of All This, Va Tech Needs an ACC Win. Badly by dillon77

They're 0-3 in league play, after having started off undefeated in non-conference play. Losing to Syracuse at home is no sin, but blowing a huge lead against UVA was.

And if they don't win tonight, they have to go play undefeated NC State (last undefeated ranked team in D1) on the weekend, so they will come out flying.

Here's Va. Tech's starters. Besides Dara, pay attention to guard Taylor Emery and Swedish forward Regan Magarity, the Hokies' two seniors. Emery can take over games and the Hokies rely on her; nearly too much at the end of games according to Coach Brooks. I could see Jackie Young getting some time on her if the Irish go man.

Va. Tech probable starters: F Regan Magarity (13.8 ppg, 13.2 rpg), G Taylor Emery (18.9 ppg), G Dara Mabrey (12.0 ppg), G Kendyl Brooks (5.6 ppg) and either F-G Rachel Camp (5.1 ppg) or F Trinity Baptiste (10.4 ppg).
