U.S. Beats Canada in World Cup; Advances to Semi's... by dillon77

They held Canada to 16 first-half points (while scoring 50 of their own) en route to an 81-46 win. Caitlin Clark scored 9 points and had a long stint on court, playing 25 minutes, most on the team.

The U.S. will play the winner of the Belgium vs. Japan game in the semi-finals. Belgium has been playing well.

Most of the U.S. games are being played in the middle of the night (U.S. times), so I've not seen any live. And most of the time I'm trying to see how Clark is doing so I'm not perusing the stands to see if there are any recognizable coaches. In the beginning, Walz played Bueckers and Van Lith a lot, given their almost constant presence on various U.S. teams the last two years. But Clark is getting more and more minutes ... exactly what one wants to see (as well as her in an Irish uniform in 2020.).

Here's a link to the U.S. Basketball site that has, in turn, links to anything on the game....box scores, video replays, still pictures, etc.
