• Please do not copy entire articles into your post; rather, provide links to them.. We are now links-only for ALL Internet publications. If only a small portion of the article pertains to your post, Fair Use allows you to copy those one or two paragraphs, provided you cite the author's name and the publication for which he writes. Otherwise, put a link in the HTTP Link box.
• Even if you're copying a reference to an article, provide a link to the page from which the article came. We're trying to cut down on duplicate topics, and the posting process will check the link to your article to see if it's already being discussed on this board. At the very least, you'll save yourself some grief on the boards.
• If your first reaction after reading the article you're going to share is the author is uninformed / stupid / a jerk / all of the above, it's not worth sharing with anyone. Pat posterized freshman phenom Jabari Parker. The Bucks drafted Parker #2 overall in 2014, the hope likely being that he’d eventually be a star Batman, and the raw but high-upside lanky kid from Greece they drafted at #15 the previous year would be able to develop enough to supplement him as a Robin and lead Milwaukee back to title contention.

On July 14, 2018, the Bucks decided not to match Chicago’s big offer for restricted free agent Parker. He had not emerged as the star Batman after all. On August 1, 2018, the Bucks signed Pat in a deal that was innocuous at best and a bit of a head-scratcher for a middling player at worst.

Today, that raw lanky kid from Greece is a global superstar. Parker is possibly out of the league for good. And Pat played a key role helping the kid from Greece bring Milwaukee a championship and is now himself beloved in Milwaukee.
