Simplify the tax code without enriching the rich, support business, technology and job creation, but with a strong and fair regulatory framework to protect society and the individual from exploitation, find a way to provide catastrophic health insurance to all Americans, maintain a strong Atlantic alliance but limit nation building overseas, overhaul the criminal justice system to stop mass incarceration, support sensible gun and climate change laws, develop approaches to reduce economic inequality, and protect the freedom and privacy of the individual, but not by sacrificing the life of others. I veer left but am not always aligned with the Democratic Party, but rarely aligned with the current GOP.
