Height:
Weight: lbs.
Alumni Status: BA '07, POLS and PHIL
Location: Chicagoland
Favorite Baseball Team: Cincinnati Redlegs (by birth)/White Sox (adopted), so I've basically given up on baseball
Natural Enemies: The majority of the Big 10 and their fans
Athletic Ability:
Nothing to write home about. I've always loved sports, but have never had much talent. I confess to owning two Pelotons (bike and tread).
Sartorial Style:
Nothing interesting.
Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq:
Clear liquor in the warm months, brown liquor in the cold months, beer and red wine year round.
Political Philosophy:
Center-right (but not Republican). I try hard to balance my Catholic faith with my political views. I'm pro-life (not just anti-abortion, I favor pro-family policies like paid leave, increased child tax credits, making birth free, etc.), anti-death penalty, in favor of stronger border security as well as compassionate policies toward immigrants who are already here and otherwise obeying the laws. I think the government has an obligation to provide a safety net for the less fortunate in society, and I also think the less fortunate are best off when the private sector is robust and creating jobs.
Religious Philosophy:
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem.
Musical Favorites:
Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton
Favorite Quote from an ND Coach:
The priest is not going to give you communion tomorrow if you don't give us a better mark!

-Lou Holtz to an official in the 2007 Blue-Gold Game. I regret the fact that I wasn't an ND fan yet when Lou was the coach.
