I believe in low taxes, limited government, active U.S. pursuit of human rights abroad, including military force where necessary, a strong military, a modest "safety net," strong but reasonable environmental laws that use good capitalist principles, minimal government interference in the private sector, and judges who know their proper role and practice "original intent" jurisprudence. Fiercely patriotic.

Devout Catholic, though I don't attend church as often as I should. I don't believe in a God who would sentence people to burn in hell for not praising Him in a way slightly different from our own. Strongly pro-life, which now includes a growing anti-death penalty component.
