Height:  6'1 Weight:  195 lbs. Alumni Status:  '90
Location:  Favorite Baseball Team:  Go Cubs Go
Natural Enemies:  Egomaniacs, extremists, activists, deadlines, St. Louis Blues. Also see Favorite Baseball Team

Athletic Ability: Was a pretty good long distance runner in high school, but that was a long time and many pounds ago.

Sartorial Style: None.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: I'm a bit of a beer snob, so I prefer micro- or homebrew to mass produced swill. Hoppy West Coast pale ales/IPAs are my favorite.

Political Philosophy: Conservative. The federal government is too big, and wastes too much money. More power should be shifted back to the states. I might be a Libertarian but I'm a little uncomfortable with some of their social stances.

Republicans and Democrats are cut from the same hypocritical cloth.

Religious Philosophy: Christian

Musical Favorites: In college I was accused of not owning any recordings made after 1980. While I still like classic rock, I've expanded my repertoire quite a bit. I prefer upbeat/uptempo music over mellow/moody songs.

I'm also an expert in being able to recall all the lyrics to a song and simultaneously having no idea what it is about.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: "Get yer ass's ass out there!" - Lou. Wish I could remember the context.

Miscellaneous Data: Fr. Hesburgh drove me, a friend, and a rental fridge from Stepan to the Dome my junior year. I was wearing a Florida State t-shirt (don't ask) and my friend was wearing a Texas A&M "eATMe" shirt. He asked us what the "hubub" was on the football team for the upcoming season. That year was 1988, and the rest is history.

The reason he drove us to the Dome was that he thought that was as close as he could get to Cavanaugh. I didn't argue, or correct him.
