Athletic Ability: Glory days, they'll pass you by...

High school letter winner in football, basketball, and track. Since 2005, I've run more than 40 marathons, with a PR of 2:41:34 at the 2014 Boston Marathon, and more than a half dozen ultramarathons from 50k to 100 miles.

Sartorial Style: We liked the same music, we liked the same bands, we liked the same clothes
We told each other that we were the wildest, the wildest things we'd ever seen...

Jeans and polos aren't too wild, but they are what I like.

Favorite Beverage and Consumption Freq: Dear, I hear that beer flows through the faucets all night long...

Beer: Microbrews, including our local STL stars, sours, New England and West Coast IPAs, and whatever I'm pouring on my tap--as frequently as I well please.

Wine: Red wine - mostly cab, syrah, and pinot - a couple bottles a week.

Other: Vodka tonics if it's an open bar with good vodka and bad wine.

Political Philosophy: Born down in a dead man's town....

Never Trump former Republican now identifying as a moderate independent - fiscally conservative, socially moderate to left of center except on pro-life issues, and flat out sick of how things have been going for 20 years or more now, but especially in the last couple years.

Religious Philosophy: Meet me at Mary's Place, we're gonna have a party...

Musical Favorites: Hey vibes man, hey jazz man, play me your serenade
Any deeper blue and you're playin' in your grave
Save your notes, don't spend 'em on the blues boy...

Springsteen, mostly. Other favorites include Taylor Swift, Morgan Wade, U2, Tom Petty, Eric Church, Kip Moore, Jason Isbell, The Killers, Dermot Kennedy, and Kacey Musgraves.

Favorite Quote from an ND Coach: We've given each other some hard lessons lately
But we ain't learnin'
We're the same sad story that's a fact
One step up and two steps back...

Be a fighter, gents. Not only out there on the football field, but out in life as well.-Frank Leahy

Miscellaneous Data: Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse?
