What else do you want us all to know:
Clearly a psychologist would say I lived vicariously through ND football when I first started listening to games in 1956 when I was 11 and an avid sports fan and player in LL baseball, football, etc. Unfortunately, I became an avid fan during the worst period of ND football ever (1956 through 1963) before Faust came along. I am better now but at one point refused to attend any wedding that conflicted with a game. When our children were young my wife always made sure I was in a separate room during a game. One benefit to becoming a devout fan in '56 was I learned how to deal with "disappointments" over which I had no control and the importance of never backing down when others thought they could make fun at my expense.
