22 teams had winning records, and only 10 had losing records. Three of the ten teams with losing records were one game under .500.

The Pens just missed, but seeing what happened to the team that edged them out (the Caps), I'm not sure we missed much.

losing records. Since OT/shootout losses get you a point and wins get two points, hockey standings are less linear.

Hope the Isles can extend that series.
