Utah Gains Two Transfer Forwards Not Named Gardiner

"Utah WBB announces the addition of Michigan transfer Chyra Evans (6-2 SO forward, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia) and Rhode Island grad transfer Mayé Touré (6-2 SR forward, Athis-Mons, France), who had originally committed to Maryland."

Timea Gardiner is from Utah and many -- myself included -- thought Utah would approach her about taking the forward spot that Alisa Pili, now of the Minnesota Lynx, had.

However, Toure -- who had committed to Maryland -- decommitted to head out to Utah and you can almost guarantee she wouldn't of done that without a guarantee someone wasn't coming in over her.

So, here's hoping Ms. Gardiner is still in play. Remember, UCLA was a finalist for her in high school and still may be again, but they've got a lot of forwards (Dugalic is the starter).
