I do think that if Trump were forced down from the Republican ticket, the Democrats would come out and do the same to Biden, but it's turned into a game of chicken played with the highest office in the land, and we will all lose no matter who "wins".

The Dems are savvy and ruthless enough to pull the plug on Joe. There are plenty of competent lefties in the bullpen. Conversely, Trump has his own unique following that essentially makes it impossible for the GOP to give him the boot. Besides, they lack the spine to stand up to him.

Didn’t gain any traction.

Seems odd. She and Schumer seem to know it’s time, but there wasn’t any real plan to move on from Biden.

That handed them the presidency in 2020. It'll have to do it again in 2024.
