TCL televisions are good TVs right?

Think I remember that being said back here.

We have been wondering what the burning smell was in the house for the past 24 hours. Finally tracked it down to the 15 year old Samsung 52 inch flat screen television.
It turned itself off, and upon turning it back on I heard a telling 'fump' sound coming from the back and upon inspection found it smoking quite badly out the back.

After cooling it down the screen is now full of lovely greens and yellows.


So, as we have had a $25,000 surgery, a $3000 car repair, a $6000 furnace replacement, and found that my right knee is bone-on-bone...we are ok with a $400 television instead of the $4000 OLED Bravos or something.

So I believe the consensus was that TCL made good TVs. Is that correct?
