Notre Dame's pitching is not and never has been in the same ballpark. Gumpf cannot recruit championship pitching. Our peckerhead DA obviously doesn't give a damn.

TK was amazing and would have taken ND to the World Series under the current format but back then the regionals were six-team events. You really needed two strong pitchers to win a regional. Now with the four-team regionals, TK would be able to carry the Irish into the World Series. Oh well!
