Continuing to recruit and develop pitching talent gets you these results. The latest was a 3 hit shut out by freshman phenom Macaela Kastor over Eastern Carolina (18-7).

Kastor was the California Gatorade Player of the Year. "The hype Macaela has is legit. Her mound presence and confidence is amazing. And then she backs that up with a 65 mph-plus fastball and a rise ball that is just devastating."

Oh, she also played shortstop in high school and batted .522 her senior season.

At least we'll have 4 years in order for her true nature to be revealed—hopefully. Do many transfer from ND softball? I'm pretty new to it.
