I have a hard time believing Alabama let him go.

In any case, it is interesting that this guy who's ranked as the best recruiter in college football is leaving college football.


Reports are that Saban "encouraged" him to leave.

Sources conflict as to the extent, but it appears Lupoi had many responsibilities stripped as the season went on, in favor of co-defensive coordinator Pete Golding.
