Yes, there is a lot of negativity towards aspects of our program. Many reasons have been adduced to provide a foundation for that negativity. There has also been positivity where merited--heck, even with our loss to Georgia there were reasonable statements of support for our defensive performance and for the fact that we made it more competitive than many (not just here, but out in the college football world) thought it would be. Listen to the D&D podcast that's linked on RH--it makes very good points about the good, bad, and ugly.

Your screen name honors a significant Catholic thinker whose earthly remains are in the floor of the crypt at Sacred Heart. Do you think he'd have written something like your post (I mean, if he were around today)?
