How many years should ND give a head coach to win a national championship?

3? 5? No limit?

Personally, if he’s not beating top 5 teams and winning major bowls after 3 years, he should be canned.

And if he doesn’t win a national championship after his 5th year, he never will, so adios mf.

What say you?

And were you around for ‘66, or ‘73, or ‘77, or ‘88, attending games and conversant with the mindset of the ND student body and alums during that time?
