They've got 8 in the top 25. So they're slightly ahead of the BIG 10/ACC juggernaut
Remember that SEC teams often schedule two FCS teams

and they only have 8 conference games. They also schedule more out of conference games versus the Sun Belt Conference than anyone else.

As a result, simply looking at the win/loss records of opponents does not always tell the entire story.
