The clock is irrelevant in the playoffs OT rules.

The rules are such that each team gets a possession. They are not limited by the game clock. So it’s as though it were the end of the first quarter, not the end of the half.

Change the direction each team is playing every 15 mins

It doesn’t really matter in a dome, but if the game were played outside the direction of play could provide an advantage or disadvantage.

From the NFL website regarding playoff overtime procedures: "There will be a two-minute intermission between each overtime period. There will not be a halftime intermission after the second period."
