* A sellout in the first big home game of 2017, but filled with fans of the competition
* Staff that leaves after they prove themselves at ND - if they could do it here, they can surely do it where "things are easier".
* Players that leave early for the draft
* etc., etc.

But everyone loves Kelly !

He's not having to do the fundraising any more, he's delegating, he's left no stone un-turned.

He's more proven and loved than ever !

A more difficult recruiting environment.The new staff worked really hard and averted an all out disaster, but we could have done so much better with a 10-2, or even a 9-3 season. Winning counts, especially with elite recruits.

yes, add it to the list

10-3, 10-3, 10-3...now we'd start to look like a consistent program, and to your point, maybe we would start to get some 5* studs to get us over the top. But inconsistent fundamentals, break downs in S&C, game plans too heavily focused on QB decision making and precision throws v. beating up inferior opponents...

Agreed the staff has stepped up recruiting, but, if we have the right person that should have been the case starting in year 2 or 3 at the latest. Not a concern in year 8.

Choir preaching, I know.
