This has always been my opinion and has nothing to do with the recent punishment given to ND. If you want to take away individual awards like Reggie Bush's Heisman Trophy then I guess that's fine (I don't care), but I think it's silly to monkey around with the results of games. If someone gets caught then do a prospective punishment, let the public record tell the story of what happened, and let each individual fan or media member judge the merits of those teams however they want. If I want to whine that Pete Carroll's USC teams had an unfair advantage, I don't need an official asterisk to do that.
