They send tickets out at most 3 weeks before the game. By the time the club gets them, and solves the giant puzzle of assigning seats to everyone (while trying to sit every group together), getting the envelopes addressed and sent out, it's a big deal. It would be nice if ND could at least tell the club what seats they will have just so the seat assignment process can be started as early as possible.
