Separate from the staff's inability to manage him, the timing and return are unsatisfactory. More years of mediocrity are assured.
I would have traded down last draft since they didn't like any of the QBs enough, chosen Nelson, a defensive player with the 2nd pick they would have gotten in that trade, and a RB like Chubb in the 2nd round.
Alas. The QBs this draft won't likely satisfy Gettleman either.
