And not any more than in game situations.

OK drill was always much more about technique up front and wrapping up by the tackler, head across the bow type stuff. Sure it is aggressive, and shouldn’t be done before college in my opinion, but is perfectly fine for the NFL

I lost a season to a knee injury from the OK drill. But it was a freak thing, bad tackle, knee twisting type stuff, in a tight space.

minimized. The NFL released something last week; Troy Vincent and LeCharles Bentley (who runs an OL training center in Phx and in general is just a bad-ass) put a video together.

Here's the difficult part though--you can adjust technique and minimize the head contact, but if you never practice it how are guys going to get good at it?
