the first two guys that he brought in to coordinate his defense were and are idiots and terrible coordinators.

He's done better there. Offense is still a poor fit.


And strength and nutrition stuff seems improved *

but we hired a guy who was mainly interested in making guys throw up during their warm up stretch.

In turn, I ended up throwing up watching many of the games during those early years.

birds of a feather flock together and these guys were coming up when many of today's coaches were getting their start.

We'll likely see a gradual change, IMO. Probably in the next 10 years or so.
