(11/24 was yesterday.)

This is before my time but since we are playing this Friday, some interesting facts about the game.

- The crowd of 77,265 was the largest to attend a football game in Florida at the time. It took place at the old Orange Bowl.

- This was Notre Dame's third Friday night game in history; the others were in 1951 at Detroit and 1955 at Miami.



Will this be our first Friday game since then? *

A 37-15 loss to Miami in 1981 is our last Friday game.

It was a debacle. We had been #1 in mid-September and then the house of cards fell apart.
