time and, unfortunately, some turnover. It makes me appreciate even more the way Ara and company turned it around as fast as they did. It didn’t help Holtz that he had some murderous schedules the first two years and more QBs than D lineman to start with.

The acceptance of failure has now taken hold stronger than ever after nearly 30 years of second and third rate coaching and I sometimes feel like Gandalf walking into the see the king of Rohan who is under the spell. Like Gandalf, It’s all about the staff.
