I agree about changes coming, but...

Why would the NFL agree to pay $.01 to any college players or schools? They are getting the product for free, what would be the benefit to them to change that model? The schools can do whatever they want and create any eligibility rules that they want, I don't think the NFL will be contributing any money towards that. They also have a monopoly on the product. If you want to play football, where else are you going to go? Again, not saying that things won't change, but for the NFL to be involved college football would essentially have to go away, have no association with any schools, and become a true minor league. They aren't giving money without control over the product, training, coaching, roster management, etc.
