race. I really need to start paying more attention to this sport again. I had no idea they were getting ready to begin play in their own hockey palace. From nowhere to playing D1 hockey in an arena that reminds me a lot of the CFIA in a matter of 2 or 3 years. After two seasons as an "honorary" member of the CCHA, they'll be full-fledged and eligible at that time, I assume, to win the league's auto-bid.

Like you, I thought they were kind of winging it, like LIU or Stonehill. Instead, they broke ground on the rink before they announced they were starting a hockey program. I guess it makes sense to put the cart before the horse, because they probably would not have been invited to the CCHA unless they could demonstrate a multi-million dollar commitment to hockey.
