end of period 2 after defenseman falls down at point giving them odd-man rush. We were controlling play during a lot of that period despite stupid move by Plucinski to get a 5 min major for grabbing facemark (He should sit tomorrow for being such a dumbass!). We had two 3 on 1 chances shorthanded and couldn't score. That will come back to haunt us. This is why this team cannot score many goals

A mediocre team with a coaching staff that us utterly clueless in how to help them succeed and it's no surprise they can gag away a 2-0 lead in the span of 2 minutes.

he did at Minnesota State.

MSU was coming off 4 straight losing seasons and he guided them to a 24-14-3 record and only their second NCAA tournament bid in his first season there. They were still in the "real" WCHA then too. Afterwards he dominated the nWCHA (and the nCCHA when the WCHA folded its tent) for the next decade. He didn't just dominate a weak conference either. It took him a while to figure out what to do in the NCAAs but when he did, he guided the Mavericks to back-to-back FFs.

The guy can coach.
