What Recruiting Period Are We Currently In?

The vast majority of the next few months (until July 5th) are Quiet Periods, during which “a college coach may have face-to-face contact with college-bound student athletes or their parents on a college campus. A coach cannot see them compete or visit high schools, but can write or telephone athletes and their parents.

There are two Evaluation Periods (April 13-17 and April 20-22) , during which a college coach may watch college-bound student athletes compete, visit their high schools, and write or telephone student-athletes or their parents. No face-to-face anywhere but on a college campus, however. Hence, those official visits are really worth watching.
