Paige Burckers, Azzi Fudd, Jordyn Oliver, Rickea Jackson, Treasure Hunt, Caitlin Clark, Charisma Osborne, Hannah Gusters, along with a few new names: Lavender Briggs (19), Mila Reynolds (22), Kylie Feuerbach (20), Breanne Salenbien (21), Janiah Barker (22), Amari DeBerry (20) (not that new), and Madelynne Scherr (20).
Nice to see Madeline Westbeld doing her Kathryn imitation.
No word about Sam on the court but off the court she is the face of the program.
Added: OK, Sam shows up in this tweet.
mentioned. When Sam Brunelle committed to ND, Mila's father tweeted that he hoped that Sam would eventually be Mila's host on an official visit to ND. I look forward to seeing her play during her high school years and hope that her career path will follow Skylar Diggins'.
Go to this link and towards the top of the page look just UNDER the headline "2018 USA Women's U17 World Cup Team Trials Roster (158 athletes)", which reads "102 Finalists (as of May 26 at 12:45 p.m. MDT): Alphabetical | Numerical". This will allow you to download the remaining 102 who made the first cut.
Unfortunately, Mila Reynolds did not make it. She is awfully young at this point
Among the cuts: Madeline Westbeld, Keegan Sullivan, Maddie Burke.
All of the eleven from the Nielefest/Recruitapalooza extravaganza remain except Anaya, who is part of the U18 group, Maddie Burke, and Matyson Wilke, who did not attend.
Also, Aliyah Boston and Haley Jones, of course remain. Laeticia Amihere, as we know, is Canadian. One other player making the cuts is Sydnee Roby, who Dillon does not want us to forget.
..as she could be a plan B (and I mean that in the most practical but respectful way possible) for 2019 post plans if Ameihere and/or Boston go elsewhere, which could most certainly happen given how many top schools are after them. Of course, a lot of schools are after the Wisconsin Player of the Year herself (that being Ms. Roby), so she's a plan A for many places.
I'm also just plain interested to see how far she goes in this process....
