For the umpteenth time, could the manner is which the transition was handled be done better (by both sides)? Yes, of course.

But given everything I've read and seen since then, Jewell made a decision that was right for her and appears to be very happy. And successful.

Congrats, Jewell!

I'll be rooting for her hard to make the U.S. National Team if she chooses to try out after the finals. And I'll be she's there.
