A few more thoughts

"Plan B" is a probably a fair characterization. Bueckers is (quite literally) all-world. Clark has an AAU National Championship and is the fastest gun in the (mid)west.

I think it's no slight to Kelly to recognize that she's not quite on that level of achievement. However, Kelly is a very strong Plan B. That's why I didn't like the word desperate.

To me, all that visiting Kelly signifies is that ND wants a PG in 2020 and the coaches are recruiting multiple options. Recruiting 3 players to try to fill one spot is simply prudent.

It doesn't tell me anything about Bueckers and Clark. Even if Bueckers or Clark was giving us good signals (and I don't have any inside intel), we'd be foolish to stop recruiting other talented players without so much as a verbal commitment.
