I do agree that Peoples will have a decent shot at being the point. I don’t think Nixon got enough playing time this season to get separation from a serious challenger if that’s what Peoples turns out to be.

The starting 5 will be a “new” Irish squad learning to play as a team and working to form an identity based on each player’s strengths and weaknesses. It will be a fresh start for whoever plays point.
