That is why I am confused when a player like Jackie forgoes a year
to go pro. I just can not see the positive in doing that. Sure she can make
decent money overseas. But why should she have to. Owners need to get off
their high horses and pay these women properly.

yesterdays stars. The game is totally different and much more fun
and interesting to watch. Did not have web sites and boards to follow
and discuss your favorite team.

It's supply and demand - there's no money in ticket sales, TV revenue, etc. for the WNBA. How would they pay the players any more than they do?

I think the overseas opportunities are fantastic and the way to go since they play a short, 3-4 month season here in the USA.
