...namely, that a lot of the top player selected were having initial minutes cut back and/or not shooting particularly well. From Arike and KLS to virtually all of the Phoenix rookies, minutes have dropped. That's why it's such a shame that Jess and Pheesa Collier seemed to be clicking so well with each other and the Lynx. All power to them and Coach Reeve, who obviously knows how to work the personnel she gets.

a definite bias against young players, but this year she was forced to make exceptions, as 4 of last year's starters are retired, injured, or taking the season off. It's Fowles, former bench players and the youngsters.

So far, so good, although Jess's injury messes things up. She looked really good!

Let's hope Jess can apply the same resolve she showed in the weight loss and getting in shape to the recovery (once surgery is done).

If she can get back...knock on anything...she and Phee looked good together.
