Here's wishing her a speedy recovery!

Coming back from another ACL is going to test her resolve, that's for sure.
While a meniscus has gotten a easier, it's still not a bowl of cherries (I've had two). But it's ACL that is the big challenge.

Best of luck to her and hope she gets back to play another season in Australia, which has been good for her career.

With that in mind, I wonder how Lindsay Allen's recovery is going and if she's going to be able to play in the Aussie League this fall/winter.

Brianna Turner Is signed to play

with Natalie Novosel's Australian team the Adelaide Lighting. I'm sure that is a big disappointment to both young ladies. I know it is for Nat.

Seems She Signed In Early May...

...according to this posted article.

Aussie National Team Coach Sandy Bordello's spring/summer job is coaching Bri's Phoenix Mercurt WNBA team. So between the Mercury season (where she's now getting solid minutes) and the Adelaide Lightning role, she's going to get to know Australia.

Playing in that league has been a good experience for Natalie Novosel and Lindsday Allen of ND, as well as Kia Nurse of UConn. Hopefully, it will prove the same for Bri, who cites "the shorter season" of the Aussie league as one of the attractions.

Get better, Nasty, and hope there's another pro comeback in your future. And good luck down under, Bri, after the WNBA playoffs.
