6'2 Makurat has already announced she's leaving, but perhaps this means there are others? Juhasz is good, but there aren't enough minutes to go around with Nelson-Ododa, Poffenbarger, Griffin, DeBarry and Gabriel all in the 6'2 and above Forward position.

Any of the five might look good in blue and gold.

It always amazes me that Geno, who never plays his bench - even in routs - has such deep teams. Everyone should talk to Azure Stevens before transferring to UCONN. I think Geno's unwillingness to play her more cost UCONN against us in the Final 4.

You're right. Anna Makurat left because she could see the lack of playing time getting even tighter next year with the ascension oof ON-O, DeBarry and the person I think is playing toughest of all -- Aaliyah Edwards.

And Juhusz was the focal point of McGruff's offense. So why leave?
Well, beyond the "playing for a title," I think she see's and hears how Geno trains his charges to be ready for the WNBA and maybe one year of book camp will do the trick.

Heck, she was one of the focal points of the Ohio State offense. Now, she'll have to work her goulash off to get on the court.

Strange times....everybody probably always had a wish; now they have an in to do it.

Makurat is now playing overseas in Europe.

Per my earlier comment on Dr. Geno's finishing school,she figures she got what she needed in two years of "practice" to move onto pro leagues in Europe.
