On paper they are a more well rounded team.
They both of inconsistency in common, so who knows which team shows up.
They aren't a team and don't seem to ever play like one. That falls directly on Deschamps, IMO.
Some say this is the deepest French team ever and they frequently look like shit.
A bunch of otherworldly talented players who have never played together before.
But don't see them going much beyond that.
and still using Giroud as a pair to Griezmann. The way they lined up yesterday, 433 with Martial/Mbapbe/Dembele and Pogba as an 8, not a 6 is probably their best bet.
But he'll pigeon hole to a 442 with Giroud in there still and Pogba playing in a double pivot.
