The kid is a talent, but it seems like an odd choice for Bayern at this point.

He did not look out of place in MLS at age 16

He has 54 appearances in MLS at age 17. He is not a game changer at that level yet, but he is already a squad player in a decent league at a very young age.

That would place him ahead of schedule for a player like Matt Miazga but a bit behind schedule for a guy like Pulisic. He sort of reminds me of Demarcus Beasley circa 2002, but he is three years younger than Beasley was at the time.
