Tickets in the upper bowl/end zone were $50. I saw that for sections 133, 135, and 136, at the least. I got seats in section 36 for $85. Tickets in the lower bowl on the 50 of the press box side were $185. Those prices don't include TicketMaster's proctology fee.
I don't think the prices would change based on presale and regular sale, but you never know. They may eventually go down or at least be available somewhere else cheaper closer to game time.
assuming you multiple the section by 10...
Section 9 is 50 yard line of the east side of the stadium. 18 is center of the South Endzone. 27 is 50 yard line of the east side...36 is cetner of the north endzone.
How did you get tix already?
It appears that those include access to Foley's pregame. A bit exorbitant.
I too picked up a pair of the $85 seats in Section 1. The LFC supporter sections are 1, 2, 36, 101, 102, and 136. I assume the Dortmund supporters sections are mirrored on the other south side of the stadium.
Not paying $600 a ticket this time.
Not going to post it on a public forum but happy to share with anyone who wants to pick up tickets today.
Got some good seats in Sec 28
Managed to get 5 in 28-H.
The University of Notre Dame will host a competitive soccer match for the first time in the 90-year history of its historic 77,000-seat stadium when the Reds face Borussia Dortmund on Friday, July 19 (8 p.m. ET).
Wait, didn't the Sting play the Mexican national team back in the day? This game is no more competitive than that one.
i.e. losing them during the season for ACON.
I know he’s on loan to Dortmund for the season but I’m assuming he heads to London immediately following, yes?
When can we get tickets?
Last time I had a chance like this, we saw Bayern vs. AC Milan in Chicago and I got field seats for me and my sons. Worth every penny to sit behind that ad board.
worth the trip and every penny.
Bayern vs Inter in Charlotte, not so much.
I don’t do effort.
Everybody but you? Yes.
Without any actual information, I'd say yes. Any details on if they allowed tailgating for the Winter Classic? I think they did for Garth, but can't say for sure. I'll check.
EDIT: I completely forgot that this is on a Friday. That might cause an issue. There will be one week of summer school left. Maybe they'll let tailgating start late afternoon or something.
I didn't get the announcement and CE and I are interested.
Mostly, I am interested and he wants to make me happy so he will tolerate it.
I award that joke 0 points and decree that you shall walk around campus fully clothed with a nun behind you ringing a bell and yelling “Shame.”
What the hell is wrong with Saturday afternoon? Wouldn’t it be better to have a friendly when the home countries are awake?
How am I going to tailgate a Friday night soccer game?
1. Heat and humidity in South Bend in late July might be brutal.
2. Someone else may already be using the stadium the next day (complete wild guess).
Will probably depend on the size of each.
