30:00.6 for Carmody in 4th place, 30:04.1 for Jacobs in 12th place.
If you look at the split points the team (all 7 more most of the race) ran together in the top 5 - 15. That's actually hard to do in a team tempo run! It also suggest they can go faster next week.
4 - Matthew Carmody
5 - Yared Nuguse
7 - Andrew Alexander
10 - Anthony Russo
11 - Danny Kilrea
12 - Dylan Jacobs
With those 37 pts, ND beat Wisconsin by 50 points. Wow.
Onto Tallahassee for the Nat'l. Championship on the 20th.

Had to give Andrew Alexander his due. Less than 4 seconds seperated our top 6 runners
Dylan Jacobs has been arguably our best runner on the season and he didn't even end up scoring. Bodes well for Nationals. Also only Yared Nuguse's 2nd race (I believe) since hurting his hamstring at the Olympics
...from last year's NCAA Championship team. If they lose one or two of them, ND would be in good position.
Fully expect the Florida State runners who finished 1-3 in the ACC race to be up front at their home course in Tallahassee next week. However, ND can bring lots of numbers with 1-6. Whew.
BTW, you're right: that was only Nuguse's 2nd race back, so he's gearing up.
Great day of racing for men and women.
Of their top 5 scorers,
#4 Nico Young is back
#6 Blaise Ferro was a Sr and not listed on the current roster
#7 Abdihamid Nur is back
#9 Luis Grijalva was a Sr and not listed on the current roster
#44 Brodey Hasty is back
And other finishers
#62 Drew Bosley is back
#150 Ryan Raff is back
So they lost 2 of their top 4, but I have no idea how the others have improved and who they may have added.
You're right about FSU's runners, Wildschutt was 2nd behind Mantz at last year's finals.
...or a lot. If a little, Irish have all their guns back from last year.
Will be worth watching live, for sure.
NAU has won 4 of the previous 5 with only BYU in 2019 ruining their chance for a sixth consecutive title.
They are loaded as is BYU but ND is right there. They ran as a pack of 6 today and probably has some gas in the tank at the end.
