Crap, they don't make Shell No Pest Strips anymore.

We have been having a fly infestation for the last three days. We have no idea how the little bastards are getting in, but, despite the fact that we have swatted at least three dozen of them, every day there are a bunch more. Mostly, they are concentrating on the window of the door on the side of the house, apparently trying to get back out. We kill them, then a short time later there will be more.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of them?

In Iraq we would get covered in flies

August of 2003 was awful. Around sun down they’d cover your entire arm and bite you to drink the sweat and blood right from your body. The medics found this magical blue fly murdering goo that killed them all. All of them.

Check out the “Rescue” brand of traps, etc. See link.

I use both the "TRAPSTIK" for Folie and the "TRAPSTIK" for Wasps, etc. You can use them in or outdoors. I am more concerned with Wasp, etc. version. I have outside, one on the railing of an open porch the other hanging from the railing of my deck (not covered). With all the rain we have had here in the DC area, they are still in good shape.
I first came upon them in a Southern States store while cruising the aisles. Sometimes a Home Depot or Lowes has the one for flies.
I now order them through Amazon!

Agreed

I have an Equestrian facility and these things work well to manage the flies.

This is an underwhelming addition to your oeuvre.

Its great to kill the flies and you have some fun with it too. Make it even better with a laser sight.

They vaporize the fly at close range. *

At first I thought you meant put some rock salt in a 12 gauge and I thought, "No, that would be overkill."
