they went all in with Harbaugh. They backed up the Brinks Truck. This was their Michigan man; their dream candidate. If he fails, I don't think they know where to turn next. And so far he has not met their expectations, especially for their two "most important" games each year, against MSU and OSU. If he loses to ND as well the cries for his head will get that much louder.

That's why ND will lose to Michigan

Michigan does not fuck around in terms of firing coaches. Harbaugh knows he'll be on thin ice if he doesn't beat ND.

On the other hand, Kelly knows damn well he's safe, regardless of the outcome. He'll find a fancy way to explain the loss, blaming the players for the result while highlighting how his brilliant scheming would have delivered a win if only the players could execute. Then, he'll fall into Savvy Jack's warm embrace to keep himself from freezing on "the coldest seat in the country".

In this sense, Harbaugh wants it more. And that desire will translate to his team.
I’ll cop to being quite worried when they hired Harbaugh.
