We had our last bout of Cotton Bowl weather at the 1993 Cotton Bowl. I remember driving through the iced-over Metroplex to one of park-n-ride spots in southwest Dallas. The bus took us the rest of the way. ND blasted A&M that day, 28-3.

Is the ‘94 Cotton the last time ND won a top tier bowl game?

25 years. Lord, have mercy.

Yes. I saw it with my own eyes.

What a long strange trip it has been.

Beating LSU last year was nice, but I don’t think anyone would characterize the Citrus Bowl as a top tier bowl game.
