He appears to be having a really good combine.

I didn't realize he was such an amazing athlete. The size we

always saw and maybe the vertical. The broad jump and quickness on cones et al is shocking. He's a better athlete all around than Dexter Williams who is very good.

With his size he seems to be a day two draftee now. I considered him more of a 5-7 round guy.

That's 2nd round pick Miles Boykin. *

vertical while he was here ... those are great numbers. But, ah, you know, you’ve gotta translate those numbers into football. And I think he will.”

Pretty tepid remarks. Why detract in any way from his achievement? What did Miles ever do but save your a$$ on some pretty stupid playcalls, Kelly?

Ya, he had a drop in the Cotton Bowl. Ya, he had trouble getting open sometimes. He also singlehandedly — with an actual single-handed catch — won the Citrus Bowl for you. Why say anything other than “Miles is an awesome player, wonderful teammate, physical specimen, and teams need to draft him early or lose out”?

Gee, can't figure out why his recruiting sucks. *
