commitments) we have shifted our focus to what we consider our wheelhouse - the sub-elites and/or self selectors, then I think his point is fine. And as a program I am not sure we aspire to win national championships or we would have shitcanned a head coach who manifestly cannot win one. We made a conscious choice to to retain him, well aware of his limitations and ceiling.
